8.1 Project Curation and Community Voting

The Avao Launchpad is a curated platform for launching new projects that align with Avao’s values: transparency, utility, and long-term alignment. It serves as a gateway for builders to gain visibility, access ecosystem support, and connect with a governance-driven community.

Unlike open-access launchpads that prioritize hype or short-term speculation, Avao’s Launchpad is community-curated. Projects are selected through a two-stage process:

  1. Submission and Screening Builders submit their projects through Avao Suite, including details on their roadmap, team, tokenomics, and ecosystem fit. The Avao Core Foundation and Avao Control conduct an initial screening to ensure baseline quality and compliance.

  2. Community Voting via veAOV Once screened, projects are presented to veAOV holders for a governance vote. Only projects that receive sufficient community support proceed to the Launchpad. In addition, where applicable, veAOV holders may receive priority or early access to newly approved Launchpad projects before broader public participation. This priority reflects governance participation and long-term ecosystem alignment, rather than financial entitlement.

This model ensures that only high-quality, community-aligned projects are featured — reducing noise, increasing trust, and reinforcing Avao’s reputation as a serious ecosystem.
